“ We ordered wings for delivery so I can't speak to the service or ambience of the location, but the wings and wedges were tasty! I'd definitely order again. ”
“ The BEST KFC in town! No one tops Chimcking! Pay a visit if you have a chance! This is your sign to go!! ”
“ I was craving chicken wings and found this gem near a spot that rhymes with Buckahoe Mild Kings. I wanted to try something new, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! I ordered ahead online, and when I whipped around the corner, my order was ready! The wings and drumsticks were massive--super crispy without being soggy from the sauce. A nice surprise was the pickled radish that came with it; it was the perfect touch to cut through the spice! Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be coming back! ”
“ I'd twerk so hard for it to not be a million bucks for 30 wings. The wings are so mmmmmmmf purrpurrpurr but then you look at your receipt and hawk a luigi on the ground bc u just spent 50 doll hairs on some wings There's not really a seating area to have a chicken wing feast with the fam so you best take the food home and nomnom elsewhere ”
“ We loved it!! And even more surprising, as self proclaimed spicy lovers, it was the soy garlic wings that blew us out of the water! Service was quick and we recommend it as lunch on a weekend to not have to wait so long! ”
“ The GOOD - super crispy, HOT, and JUICY - literally was DRIPPING - good sized wings - well seasoned, soy garlic is my FAVORITE - fast service - lots of different menu options - I enjoy the casual atmosphere with self serve water stations The BAD - none :) OTHER THOUGHTS It's been a long time since I came back. When they originally opened up a few years ago, I remember the wings really being small. Im so happy to say this is completely different than my initial experience. Price is on the average side compared to other places at $1.90/wing, but well worth it considering how fresh they come out. They have a pretty large menu so I'm excited to go back and try the other items. ”
“ havent came back since grand opening because our impression of the place wasnt good. the wings were overpriced for the small size it was and the chicken was quite dry. we decided to come back back during portland wing week to try their wings again. it was 6 wings for $8 - all hot king wings OR half hot king wings & half soy. this time around the wings were huge, juicy, and flavorful. i placed my order and took a seat, the wait for the food to come out was quite fast (the staff gave me a waiting time of 7-10 minutes, i didnt time it but it definitely felt like less than 10 minutes) and the staff brought it to where i was sitting. if you've been to a korean restaurant, same vibes here, lighting is dim and theres tvs with Kpop on the tv. theres also a self serve water dispenser. happy to say i still think about their wings and want to go back for it! ”
“ We've driven past this location quite a few times and I've always wanted to try it. We finally went here for lunch over the weekend and it didn't disappoint! We liked it so much that we went back for dinner (don't judge). The restaurant itself has a good amount of seating but we opted to order our food To-Go (both times) because it was a bit busy (both times). Ordering online was super easy to do (I highly recommend doing this to avoid having to wait). Unfortunately, during our first visit, the cashier wasn't helpful. Frankly, it looked like he didn't want to be there. This is why we ended up doing an online order/in-store pick-up the second time around just to avoid him. I ordered: * Wing Series: Fried Chicken 10 Piece * Rice King * Fries (just to try) I went with the plain wings and I have to say, it was delicious! The wings had a great crunch and the meat was so tender. Although I got the plain ones, there was a very small amount of spice to it, so don't worry if you think the plain ones will be too bland because they're not! This will be my go-to every time we come here in the future. The meal comes with a side of Wasa Mayo (wasabi mayonnaise) and it was so good! I got an extra side of Wasa Mayo when we went back for dinner. The Rice King is really good but the portion was too small. And the fries were also good but they didn't survive the short drive home (they were soggy). Instead, definitely go for the Potato Wedges (my wife got those with her order and they were really good; they retained their crunch). ChimcKing isn't perfect, but they are really good. I'll definitely be back. And last but not least, this place serves Coca-Cola! As you know, that's always a huge win for me! ”
“ How I heard of this place: While on a recent trip to the area, we stopped by the Beaverton Town Center to pick up some groceries, and saw ChimcKing. We were immediately sold! Type of cuisine: Korean Fried Chicken and sides. Ambiance: A small space, overcrowded with tables, chairs and room dividers with boxes and supplies hidden behind them. Order at the counter, from the lit menu directly behind the staff, then make your way to a table of your choosing. Televisions played women's sports from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The space has warm colors and is pretty busy with dining parties, but remains relatively quiet. What I ordered: We selected the Half & Half, an XL (30 piece) family serving of boneless wings with soy garlic & hot king wings ($48.99). This meal came with a small serving of fries, and a mini container of pickled radish cubes. We also shared an order of Spring Rolls ($5.99 for 5). What I loved: The wings were delicious - not overly battered, perfectly seasoned without being drenched in sauce, crispy on the outside and moist inside. We liked the flavor of the spring rolls, though they were more wrapper than filling, and came with barely enough sweet chili sauce to enjoy two rolls. Why I loved it: Service was friendly and speedy. Food was tasty and we wished we stayed in the area longer so we could try it again. Cost: High ”
“ First time here. Came on a Thursday evening. Didn't plan on dining here, but as fate would have it, we did. They have a couple of large menu posters with food pictures outside the doors and that helps with decision making. Miju was taking orders and she was friendly and helpful. We ordered a carry-out as the place was getting busy. The dining area is relatively small and they have multiple TV screens with interesting Korean videos playing and a variety of Korean noodle packages for sale. Looks like an authentic Korean restaurant having been to the ChimcKing in Daegu, S. Korea. We ordered the following which I'd recommend; -$15.99 #12 French Fries + (5pc) Boneless Chicken + Fountain Drink -$14.99 #11 Rice King + Popcorn Chicken + Salad There was one empty table and we sat there while waiting for our carry out . The table was sticky! Don't think it was wiped down properly. However, the food was great once we got to eat it at home! Well packaged. The chicken was crispy, well seasoned. The salad was fresh and the fries well made and tasty. I've added this restaurant to my list of go-to places next time I'm looking for Korean food. ”
